My BodyPROUD Story
I have been active all my life playing socker, table tennis,swimming, badminton and golfing where golf courses were available. In 1983 we were asked to join 24 hour relay Run For The Rom ". I always thought that I was in good shape, what a surprise, It took me three weeks to run 3 miles without walking . This is were my life entered new phase. I have completed my first Toronto marathon in 1984 at the age of 57 yrs. and my first Boston Marathon in 1989 at the age of 62 yrs. Eventually I have completed 19 marathons,8 half marathons,ten 4 mile races, 26 ten
kilometer races and36 5kilometer races.In the Run for the rom relay I was a running captain and we won ROM relay 6 times out of nine in various categories.When my wifes health started to fail I began weight lifting in 2007 at the age of 80 yrs.I work out four time aweek for about one hour each session for upper body and 3 times aweek for lower body parts besides I wlk 7 days per week between 4-5miles..

I am 5 ' 8" tall and weigh aprox. 160 lbs.
My AHA Life Defining Moments:
I believe in old latin saying mens sana in corpore sano.
I fight old age to stay young.
My Transformation Triumphs!
Besides placing in marathons, half marathons, 10 mile,10k. and 5k races I dont have any other.
My bodyPROUD Intentions:
Increase My Confidence, Improve my Health, Gain More Flexibility, Increase My Strength, Become a Role Model to My Children & Family, Keep Me Young, Feel Better about Myself, Compete in Physique Showcase Events, Improve My Posture, Sculpt My Physique, Attain Proper Symmetry, Feel Good in a Bathing Suit, Be an Inspiration to Others, Get Discovered - TV, Magazines, Sponsorship, Gain Exposure, Become an Athlete
To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:
As you know it is very dificult at my age to plan and to reach your goals, I take one day at the time. I am planning to enter any of the FAME competition.
Life Advice that Helped Me:
You can have any body you want provided that you work at it and stay with it do not get discouraged.
How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:
Any undertaking must be followed through honestly and sensibly.
On nutrition I try to maintain balanced diet of carbohydrates,protein and small amount of fat, which can not be ignored because, as you know, fats tend to contain usefull vitamins.
Physical fitness is my life, I have participated and competed almost in all sports.
I am focused in my thinking and discipline regarding fitness and helath.
Please Help ME with:
How to reduce abdomen fat. I have started to accomlish this, lost 3" of my waist in one month- 2 more to go.
My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
I manitain regular diet without any supplements, lots of vegetables and fruits, very little alcohol, occasional wine glass.
I train 4 days per week about one hour at the time.

My Hero / Role Model / Trainer / Sponsor / Coach / Guru... and Why
My role model is my grandson Mario Foucault who won Ontario and Canada natural body builderchampionship. He came fifth in the world competition in Sicily. He is qualified body builder ,personal trainer working out of Vancouver.
