yes I did. Thank you. I currently am not using many supplements and am getting much more rest so besides my morning cup of joe i dont want to supplement any caffeine. I do have Tom's card though! Thanks.

Profile Information

My Plug:
Personal training anyone looking to gain strength, flexibility, balance or overall tone. Men & women 15 years+. I am NASM certified, CPR certified and have experience with pre/post natal, handicaps, athletes, figure/fitness/model competitors. I focus a lot on nutrition and the balance of strength training & cardio.
My BodyPROUD Story
I grew up in a small town outside of a huge city. I began personal training in Feb 2001. Began competing in April 2007. Married my best friend from 5th grade May 2009. Since then, I have won my fitness model pro card through the SNBF and began more promotional and print modeling. I look forward to pursuing my career as a Registered Dietitian and inspiring others to pursue their goals towards a more fit and healthy lifestyle.

I am loooking foward to the Nov 7th competition in Hollywood, FL....I started my 18 week prep diet 2 weeks ago (on July16th,09) and so far so good. I hope to gain more experience and meet other Body Proud athletes!

I believe my personal savior walks with me daily and gives me the strength to step on the stage or behind the next camera. I hope his light shines through me as I inspire other individuals.

To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:
I plan to reach some of my goals by November 2009...some of the others are a life time of constant improvements!----one goal attained (1st Place Bikini Model)
Working to build my business of competition coaching and prepping....(encouraging and teaching compeititors about nutrition, poise and presentation on stage, training and preparing for a competition and all the ins and outs backstage and before the show!)
Life Advice that Helped Me:
Don't compare yourself to everyone else. Be your best and then keep beating that. Each competition needs to be a personal improvement and you will have already won!
How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:
Balance!!!! There has to be balance. I enjoy my lifestyle. Yes, of course the dieting can get stressful and the time in the gym and be tiring, but overall I love it! each person needs to find their drive....what fuels you? A little something I came up with that helps me when I am feeling weak is " I bet the girl next to you can do it!" whether it is the last squat or dead lift or choosing to stick to my nutrition plan when all my friends and family are going out to eat......either way, I bet the girl next to me is doing whatever it takes to win and I have to walk off that stage saying to myself that I did the same!
Please Help ME with:
anything and everything...nutrition, training (specifically building muscle)
My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
I change and reevaluate my diet as my body changes. Always balanced in macronutrients. I am always listening and reading more information to learn different prepping techniques. I can always improve.
I am a weight lifter! I like squats, dead lifts, leg press and dumbell exercises. The functional and other activities are great, but the weight room is where I can be found. I cycle my routine on and A & B week. The exercises may change every 12-18 weeks and are always logged in my book.
Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:
First and foremost, my heavenly Father for giving me the desire to take care of this body and the strength to prepare each meal and lift each pound. My friends and family that support me and try to understand what I do when I am "prepping" or "training". Each individual that has given me a piece of advice or encouraged me. Most importantly my partner in life, Mitchell Duncan-my husband, who helps me cook, measure meals, tan on competition day and supplies the shoulder to cry on when I just need to release.......my Best Friend.
My Hero / Role Model / Trainer / Sponsor / Coach / Guru... and Why
All of the women out there that compete in different sports or activities with children!!!!! My mind is blown away every time I meet one of you back stage. Now that is balance.
