- Love to workout, assisting people, young and old to live a longer and healthy life by helping them attain their personal goals.
- My Facts 'n Stats:
- I am 58, turning 59 on January 1st. Doing my first competition in November(22nd) and my second one on April 4th, 2009. I have been in the fitness industry since 1978. Completed 4 marathons in Canada, placed 45th female finisher in my last one with a time 3 hrs 3 sec.
I am a fitness instructor(since 1982 to present). Personal Trainer, now body building.

I have just recently started making posing suits, so there aren't that many yet, but you can get a good idea of my quality, and eye for design by looking at the rest of the pieces on there.

The dieting part is what prevents me more than anything. Don't want to stress my body....and that IS stress to it. Correct?

Shirley Van Egmond said… - Good for you. Keep up the good work. Just remember to stay in focus. I was telling one of my clients just today that over the holidays will be tough. Not just the increase in socials and food choices(richer,sugary, alcohol) but also the questions and comments you will get from family and friends regarding your own personal choices of food and hard training over a special occassion. They may suggest that you lighten up a bit over Christmas and that they think you are crazy. I don't know about your family but my mom and husband's parents and sister really didn't "approve" of my choice to train so hard and compete. I don't think they get it yet, but I still do it because it's for me. Something for me to focus on. Just keep plugging away at your goals, one day at a time. That's okay. They don't have to. It's not about them. Keep your chin up.
