My BodyPROUD Story: Health and wellness have always been an instrumental component of my life. As a child diagnosed with Asthma, I participated in competitive ice hockey for seven years and later played and coached competitive basketball. Nowadays, I continue to stay active as a Fame Pro Athlete (Muscle) and Personal Trainer with my wife, Dr. Wendy Carvalho-Ashby (Fame Pro Athlete – Figure and Model). As owners of Endurance on 8th Health Centre, we feel privileged to share our beliefs in holistic health care and the promotion of wellness to people of all walks of life. I am excited to continue to compete as a Fame Athlete and look forward to training more of my clients to compete in future Fame competitions.

I've seen you both on the show before and just loved your attitude. I used to be a trainer in some gyms around town, but have since given it up .. I've always been interested in competing but have never had the courage or been in the shape to do so (in my opinion). I am now a police officer with calgary and have been for the past 5 years, and am always trying to be in the best shape I can to survive at my job, as well just have a healthy lifestyle.
