No Doubt Malachi! It's good to see someone else holds the same philosophy. If someone wants to go on a popular bodybuilding website and download a generic plan, that's fine. But understand it is only that ...GENERIC! Not only that, but on…

I totally agree -- but this also why I'm in the mind that if you don't have anything in your arsenal other than competing a couple of times and then getting certified your not a trainer -- my opinion only though -- I mean your right…

The Seven Biggest Bodybuilding Blunders!

Bodybuilding is hard work. As far as athletics and sports goes, it may very well be one of the hardest. I have spent time in competitive boxing, martial arts, powerlifting and yet I think I can say with confidence that bodybuilding caused me to face some of my greatest challenges. All sports present different challenges that are unique only to that specific sport. My boxing taught me that I needed to take a punch, shake a punch and more importantly do my best to avoid getting punched. Boxing…See More

Is all Really Just Calories in and Calories Out?

Posted on June 1, 2010 at 10:54pm 2 Comments

Is that really all it comes down to? That's what they say. Calories in...calories out is the holy grail of weight loss. Well, at least to many. Especially with some of these internet fat-burning gurus. Almost on a weekly basis I will get new clients who share horror stories about how the trainer (many Online) they are working with straight-out…

5 Belly Fat Burning Veggies!

How about some awesome belly fat, want some? Anybody want some jelly-looking fat to store around their gut region? Belly fat going once...belly fat going twice...belly fat gone!

Believe it or not, there are hormonal situations that can result in…

The Point of No Return: Understanding Overtraining for Maximum Muscle Growth

Posted on July 16, 2009 at 1:10am 0 Comments

It’s truly incredible when one considers the great lengths at which most bodybuilders will go in order to acquire a pound or two more of muscle—particularly natural bodybuilders. Tell them that there is some new African herb that runs down the bark of a forbidden tree in the middle of a lion’s den, and off they go to become a ringleader. It doesn’t matter if it tastes like dung and smells like horse manure. If it will grow muscle, then it must be consumed. Digestion at all costs. I literally… Continue
