- I can honestly say, that after having two children (1 was an emergency c-section), it is possible to get your body back with enough determination! My daughter was born on August 28th 2008, and was 2.5 months premature weighing a bruising 2lbs, 14oz! That being said, I still had 20lbs left to lose! Imagine that! As she was so tiny, I was encouraged to nurse. However she had alot of stomach problems, and it was trial and error finding foods to eat that didnt cause her to have stomach problems. What I ate really varied in terms of calories and nutrients - and that also meant that post baby weight wasn't budging! But, I kept at getting to the gym and working out at home, when time permitted. It wasnt easy! When she was 6 months old, her stomach was able to tolerate more lean proteins and carbs, so I was able to keep up with a clean consistant diet. I combined this with weight training 3'xs a week. I finally started to drop the excess weight. She is now 10 months old and I am happy to have my prebaby body back!
