My BodyPROUD Story
Fitness! Fitness! soccer lover. I joined body proud to lose the last of my weight and tone my body tight all over. I got into couple accidents that lead to surgery and was not able to work out for 2 years....Needed all that time to heal. Well, with that I put on the pounds. It has been 8 months and I have lost 40 lbs from what I put on. My goal is to tighten my abs up and rear!! x 100. And with that I will be posting pictures!

dont scare to do your legs and dont do to much squat, lunge or dedlift. You can do leg press ,legs extension, legs curl. and for the cardio you an do the elliptial.

I have been lifting with some power lifters on campus and ive seen dramatic results. Today is my off day :-( which means painful muscle regeneration. haha i always feel so much more sore when i dont work out at all

Hey, Well, Depends on what you want to do. Fitness, bikini, body building? Just keep in mind that i have also just started but if i can give you any advise, I would say that in my short experience the first thing would be to get your mindset right (which sounds like you have), second most important thing is to get on a good diet with a good fat burner and supplements. Make sure you eat 6 times a day with plenty of water. I have found for me that my results came from diet more than training. Lastly my training was split in 2 sessions. 1hr in the morning (cardio) and 1 hr in the afternoon (weights). (not always easy with work and kids)I did free weights. i pushed myself with the weights going heavier in my set. I found that changing my routine not only kept me motivated but my body didnt get stuck in a routine and lastly just have fun and enjoy your workouts. I cant say to you that it is easy with the diet and training (and I havent even reached my goals yet) but let it become part of your life. Most importantly - surround yourself withpeople with the same goals as you. Positive people. I had a professional tell me that i could not do Fame,That I wouldnt be good enough, but i did Fame. I didnt place but I got some valuble experience and met some really awesome people. I still have a far way to go and i look forward to your progress pics.I will update mine as well.

Hey Stephanie,

What got me started?Dont know really,just woke up one morning and decided to compete. Gave myself 9 weeks to do it. Lost close to 10kg in those weeks. Not a good idea if you want to look your best. Fame was a very good starting point as far as setting a goal for myself. Competing was really great and got me even motivated. Keep positive and dont loose focus.
