I competed for the first time 10/31/08 and I'm hooked. I can't wait for the next competiton and I enjoy being part of this sort of extended community!

I loved meeting all the other competitors and being able to have my time to shine on stage. Competing not only allows you an irreplacable experience, it also gives you a great sense of accomplishment.

My next short term goal is preparing to do some damage at the championships -get a crowd to rally for me and place 1st in show.

I Am Looking for Advice On:

People have told me I could compete for years, but I was always scared to leave my comfort zone; I have always been active and I have always worked out to help focus and center myself first and foremost. However, for my last birthday (just shy of 30) I decided looking "good" was not good enough. I wanted to step it up and get in the best shape of my life and I decided to set a date to do it!
On October 31st I achieved that goal in front of an audience of strangers. Setting that date and competing was really one of my greatest accomplishments and I know exactly how wonderful it feels to take the initiative to become my personal best and it feels even better to know your work MOTIVATE OTHERS!
I would love to use that passion to help others reach their goal!!!
What I can and will offer anyone is first hand perspective on how taking time for themselves will transcend to every part of his or her life. If you are not local- please utilize this medium to find a trainer or inspiration within your area to guide you through your own transformation regardless of your starting point. My Body Proud Journey Starts Here (Blog Entry #1)

My first competition I placed which looking at line-up of gorgeous girls IT WAS AN HONOR TO PLACE IN THE TOP 5. Otherwise, mainly past modeling has conisted of print, some promo and even a billboard (Cage Gym; Fort Lauderdale) but still working so . . .

My Philosophy on Nutrition, Physical Fitness &/or Focused Thinking:

Professionally, I adhere to the philiospophy that personal training should be just that personal, and because I understand everyone's genetics, goals and timeline are different so must be your training program. Also, because you are a unique individual, you must not compare yourself to others simply work to be the best you can be and feel proud! MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT LET OTHERS NEGATIVITY KEEP YOU FROM YOUR JOURNEY! REALIZE AND OVERCOME; and always KEEP SMILING :-)
