Profile Information

My BodyPROUD Story: I am a massage therapist and just finished my personal trainer course through can fit pro. I love to stay busy and keep active. I have played a bit of sports prior but only recently became a huge fan of the working out at the gym with in the last 3 years. It has made me who I am today, training is now a part of my day and not a chore. I feel great and would love to inspire others to find something they are passionate about as well. I have not started personal training as a career yet but I look forward to my new path as well as continuing massaging as a profession. If I was asked last year if I would ever consider training for a fitness competition my answer would probably be no. I feel its perfect timing now, and I am loving the life style changes I have made. Being able to enter this competition with my dad makes it even more motivating and exciting.
It has been a learning experience.

My Transformation Triumphs!: I certainly feel proud when I have clients that take my training as motivation and start to make small improvements and changes in their lives as well. Hearing how well they feel and proud they are about them selves is very rewarding.
Sometimes people need a little push and education to realize its not that hard to make a few simple changes that will help their bodies for years to come.

My bodyPROUD Intentions:: Increase My Confidence, Increase My Strength, Be an Inspiration to Others

To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:: I am registered for the upcoming comp Oct 17th in Calgary.

Life Advice that Helped Me:: Dont feel bad if you find you are saying " no thanks" to a lot of things while you are training.
It really helps if the ones you love and friends who are around you most understand and support they might think you are crazy but as long as they respect your choices.

How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:: I belief it is a lot easier then people think to live a healthy fun life style and still be able to have a burger and fries and not feel guilty about it. Everything in moderation.
I think parents and teenagers need to be educated and aware of diseases we have today that can and could be prevented through eating properly and balancing their stress.
I feel everyone should take a basic nutrition class,and to be involved in cooking their own meals and knowing what works with their bodies.
