- I work for Fort Lauderdale Ocean Rescue as the first african american female guard at 20 years of age. I attended the University of Arkansas PB on a track scholarship but now I'm trying to find extra money to transfer to a school closer to home
- My BodyPROUD Story
- I come from an athletic background. My parents both ran track and played tennis in their younger years. After my mother divorced my father she picked up natural bodybuilding and fell in love with it. Me and my two siblings were always active in many sports related aactivities from triathlons, road series, swimming, track and field, basketball, and junior lifeguard beach competitions. Since i came out of the womb I had a fit figure, I dont know if thats anything to be proud of because I used to get picked on but now in the profession I'm in I use it to my advantage.

- I've never competed but I've always been told I have a gorgeous body (not bragging) and it would be fun and idealistic to compete
- To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:
- My goal is to aid the underpriveledged with more swimming knowledge. Especially, being a lifeguard hearing about the amount of off duty drownings in South Florida I feel that I'm qualified enough to make a change.
My goal also it to feel the satisfaction of motivating others not only in my age group, but in general to live healthier lifestyles.
It would be nice to have my face seen on a few workout videos aswell :)
- How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:
- I've learned that living a dishonest life can take you farther, but I'd rather keep my integrity and get to the top the right way!
It doesnt matter how fast you get to the top, as long as your going in the right direction.
