My Plug:
I currently train one on one with clients and run fitness classes.
My BodyPROUD Story
I grew up as a dancer and loved every minute of it, however at the age of 18 "life" got in the way and i gave up. :( I replaced it with kickboxing which again i loved but when i got pregnant that went out the window too. The fit lifestyle has always been part of me so i decided to train as an instructor. Whilst researching training techniques I came across Oxygen Magazine and that was it!! I love the look of a trained physique and always promote that rather than the typical "skinny" look. From this I decided i wanted to compete in a physique competition as i thought it would be good for myself aswell as motivation for clients. Its the ultimate challenge for me and I am determined to not give up this time. I want to disprove peoples perception that once you are a mother you can never have a good body again! And lastly I want to keep my body healthy and strong...its the only one i have and I don't intend to waste it!!

My AHA Life Defining Moments:
I believe that it is possible to have the body you dream of if you are willing to put in 100%.
Someone once said to me (if you will excuse the language):
"Excuses are like ar*eholes, they stink and are full of sh*t!"

A rather colourful way to put it but true! And after finding "excuses" for things in alot of past situations I now live by this and really evaluate wether excuses are valid or not!
My Transformation Triumphs!
My most proud moments are becoming a mother twice and always staying strong for them when relationships have broken down.

I am proud of taking on this challenge to transform the way I live not only my physique and also I am returning to dancing after giving up years ago!

Starting over!

Well last week was week one but it didnt work out quite as planned! My focus and discipline went out the window and I've realised that if I am bored or feel down in the dumps about something I raid the fridge! And not for good things either...crisps and chocolate!!!

So armed with this knowledge I have started week 1 again as of today and I feel a lot more focused, positive and generally confident that I can and will reach my goals.

Hi everyone!

Well today is the first day of me getting serious about my training and eating. I'm currently foggy headed and snotty nosed lol but its not gonna stop me. I managed my training today...shoulders and abs, even cardio which i detest!! so i'm pleased lol. My only snag is that i havent received my wages when i should of so i havent been able to buy the groceries!! :( so i guess the eating plan will have to wait till i get paid but i'm making do with what ive got! im with you on the cardio, really not keen on the c word, lol.
i try atleast an hours worth, split into 15 mins at a time makes it easier to swallow :-)
the anabolic diet, im still on it now, having a check on my stats, on the first of next month to see whats what with bmi, bf% and wieght etc.
its a carb cycling diet, theres a 12 day induction you have to put yourself through were you literally live of meat, dairy(not milk), veg, and fats.
the idea is its a high protein, high fats diet, you limit your carbs to a max of 30grams a day while on the intro, having to watch out for hidden carbs is a bugger.
then after the 12 days, its your first 2 carb days, if you start your induction on a monday your carb days land on sat and sun so it makes it easier to manage, the carbs are as expected but try to avoid bread as its verry refined... ill msg you the rest cus iv got all the info on my facebook site, lol, one min

dont worry about the body fat%, i have 45% body fat at one point, now im a little over 30, you can do it.
watch what foods your eating and the cardio your doing and youll reach your goals.
i found for me that cutting down on my carbs and cycling them reduced my bf% alot!
it might work for you.
dont cut them out all together, but look closer at your foods, theres alot of hidden carbs that would push your carb intake way over the needed amount.
