Profile Information

My BodyPROUD Story: I am hyper-active and an only-child so I have ALOT of interests! I run, power-walk and hike as well as bodybuild and weight-train. For relaxtion, I like to read and listen to music. Sometimes I will go and see live bands. I also cook. I have travelled extensively throughout my life...but my most favourite and memorable trips have been to California, USA!

My Facts 'n Stats:: My name is Marissa. I am 30 years-old. Although I have been working-out on a regular basis for the last 4 years, I first started putting my ideal physique goal into action just this past December 2008. I now eat for a lifestyle not a diet!

To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:: I want to be able to enter and place in my first fitness model/bikini competition and eventually become a fitness model.

Please Help ME with:: I started my body transformation way back in 2005. I was unfit, overweight and a heavy smoker and drinker. The motivation came from wanting to make a change for the better and not looking back since.

My Dietary &/or Training Routine:: Apart from motivating myself further into achieving my physique and fitness goals, I wanted to be part of a group of people/support network with the same interests.

Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:: My proudest moment was after having successfully lost 20kg (44lbs) after being a long-time fitness-phobe and having never, ever stepped inside a gym before.
