I am a single mother of a 5 year old MaKayla. I moved to North Carolina from Ohio 2 years ago to provide us a better life with more opportunites. When we moved we didn't know anyone. We have met some amazing people along the way, who are now my family. I have my undergrad in Exercise Science. I personal trained and tought group exercise for 10 years. I teach ZUMBA, PILATES, BOOTCAMP, ATHLETIC CONDITIONING, YOGAFIT, SCULPT, CYCLE- you name it I can teach it. I have a crazy passion in me- that I constantly want to help people acheive their health and fitness goals. I did decide to give up fitness as a career and enter Corporate America to have more financial stability. I still teach group exercise.
Being a single mother I have faced many many challenges. I've learned to have a better balance in life and to make sure I include myself in the balance.
My newest goals: I am currently working on my MBA- this stuff is no joke, but I can't wait to make that real money!

My philosophy: If you want something done: do it yourself! My biggest pet peve is when people complain because they want this and want that, when they don't have drive or determination to get it! Thing won't fall on your lap, you've got to set the goals, reach for it, prepare and plan for it, and get it! Don't depend on others to get it for you!

I enter these contests to give me a goal to work for. Entering corporate america in October from Personal Training for the last 10 years- I was not going to be a one of those people who gain weight b/c they have a sit down job.

Timeframe &/or Plan to Reach My Body Proud Goals

I already have reached my goals, but I'd like to continue to always eat clean and exercise! I am not one of those people who would ever deprive myself of carbs, water, or anything essential to look all cut for 1 minute on the stage- to me thats absolutely dumb!

Job Description // Shameless Plug for My Products or Services :-)

I work at a Pharaceutical company who manufacture 2 drugs for people who have MS. I help patients get on the drug, understand it and if they need help paying for it, I help them get financial assistance for it.
Since I have started working here I have a higher appreciation for the life I have, although I've faced some troublesome times, I know that I am blessed to not have MS after hearing what these patients are going through.
