- My BodyPROUD Story
- I've been into physical fitness practically my entire life and feel that I may be in the best shape of my life now in my early 40s. They say that you get wiser as you age and that is certainly true in my life. I have dropped all of the bad habits that many of us have experienced earlier in life and have modified my workout routine to keep myself from missing any quality gym time.
When we're in our 20s, nothing seems to be holding us back from staying out late the night before a heavy workout. Well, that isn't the case anymore. Having to mend from old nagging injuries is something that many of us have to deal with and by being more responsible with my regimen, I have been able to avoid any further damage.
A healthier lifestyle has made me feel proud to admit my age and although I may never be 20 again, who says that I want to?

Attending first FAME event next weekend...

...and not really sure what to expect. Sure, I can check out the video clips here and on YouTube, but I would rather go to Ft. Lauderdale with a total open mind and not anticipate anything. I want to be truly surprised and taken aback, which I am confident that I will be on both accounts.

Ever have a 53 year young woman model for your muscle mag? :) I feel like mags are missing the boat by not shooting over 50 male and female....I get so many letters from kids telling me what an inspiration I am to them because of my age! Think about it.
You mention being the best shape of your life at 40...try keepin it up after 50...it is a bit more work. lol
