My BodyPROUD Story
I was a depressed loser. I ate cake and ice cream and slept all day. I was lonely and I smoked over 2 packs a day. I woke up one day and realized I had been with a woman in a year. I was fat in my gut and skinny everywhere else. So quit smoking smoking, started eating right, training super hard. Now I look much much better and I feel better.
My Facts 'n Stats:
I just hit 187., up from 182
Max bench 255 and climbing (up from 185)
5'9
My AHA Life Defining Moments:
To make sacrifices and experience as much pain discomfort as it takes. Week in and week out little by little, to see a little more abs each week. A little more bench everyweek. Most importantly, a little more of girls talking to me. Touch my arms and my chest. Staring at my abs at the pool at school.
My bodyPROUD Intentions:
Increase My Confidence, Increase My Strength, Feel Better about Myself, Improve My Posture, Sculpt My Physique, Feel Good in a Bathing Suit, Become an Athlete
To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:
I gave myself a year to gain 6 pounds (of muscle) But I did it in 4 months(since new years). In to years I plan on becoming a HERO, a person so strong and confident that he is instantly respect to the maximum.
Life Advice that Helped Me:
Always defeat the urges in the moment first. Then think about the long run.... Welcome the pain welcome the discomfort and the sore muscles. Let the sweat come of you and make yourself tired and miserable.
Please Help ME with:
Diet, resting phases, most importantly, approaching girls at the gym.
My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
3 days on, 1 day off. and then one day active recovery (abs and indoor rowing), all for heavy lifting.
3 days a week I wake up early for a fat burn workout(30 minutes fast walk uphill or 25 minutes indoor rowing)
I eat every 3 hours with half a protein shake in between meals. I keep my fat under 60 grams or so a day.
Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:
A body type that lets me change myself through hard work.
And I realize that life without a handicap is a blessing and that some people are not so lucky. Most of us are very fortunate.
My Hero / Role Model / Trainer / Sponsor / Coach / Guru... and Why
My father never gave up even things were so bad for him... Now he's doing great and is the strongest person I know.
