My Body Proud Journey Starts Here (Blog Entry #1): Nova/Galaxy Shows (obstacle course and fitness skills only) back in 2002. I competed in 3 of their shows. 1-Plano, TX, 2- St Pete Beach, 3- Plano, TX. Since then I have admired the girls that trained their hearts out and got on stage to show all their hardwork.

My Philosophy on Nutrition, Physical Fitness &/or Focused Thinking:: "Only those who risk going too far can find how far one can go." I have found this to be very true for myself because I used to always expect things to come easy. I later found that I have to not only work hard but work ever harder than that.

My Dietary &/or Training Routine:: Dietary:
5-6 meals/day
Tons of water
Very little salt/sugar :-(

Training:
4-6 days/wk
30-60min of Cardio
Lots of Sprints and Plyos
4-days of weight training

I am Grateful For:: ..the friends that I have met in the fitness industry. They inspire me, keep me motivated, they challenge me, they pick me back up when I am down. True friends! I love you guys! You know who you are! xoxo

Here's a Tip I Learned that can help YOU become Body Proud:: What your mind can perceive, your body can acheive. I always heard that but never really got it until I learned "The Secret". Once I began to do self-talking and telling myself what I could accomplish, I started to believe it. What once seemed impossible is now just a matter of making up my mind to do it.

2nd PLACE IN THE WORLD PHYSIQUE CONTEST

THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT TOOK THE TIME AND VOTED FOR ME ON THE MARCH WORLD PHYSIQUE CONTEST!!

I WILL TRY AGAIN AT ANOTHER TIME BUT I AM STILL VERY PROUD OF MY ACCOMPLISHMENT. I PULL 613 VOTES BY MYSELF. I DIDNT EVEN TELL MY HUSBAND ABOUT IT. HE FOUND OUT THROUGH ANOTHER FRIEND THAT SAW ME ON THERE TOWARDS THE END OF THE COMPETITION. I WANTED TO STRETCH MYSELF AND SEE WHAT I COULD DO ON MY OWN WITH A 20 MONTH-OLD PULLING ONE ARM AND A 2YR OLD PULLING THE OTHER.

I just noticed someones comment on here about going back to blonde hair - I for one like the brown as well. It looks good. Not everyone has to be a bleach blonde - if you like the dark hair - keep it. Doesn;t matter what everyone else thinks! I switched to dark years ago and everyone now likes it better - it just takes them time to get used to it! No one likes change! LOL!
