I always worked out, but in April 2002 I was struck down with an illness that no doctor could diagnose. I had severe headaches that caused seizures, fatigue, and caused me to loose the use of my limbs. I was unable to drive, bathe myself or sometimes even feed myself. I was left to use a walker and sometimes being carried. I was in and out of hospital for about two years and taking a long list of medication.
My family thought I was not going to survive because of the amount of times I was in and out of the ICU. But I made it through. WIth all of the medication came depression and weight gain. People are so insensitive when you gain weight. But then I got lucky. I joined Bally's total fitness and I met trainer Jimmy and he helped me loose the weight and gain muscle and hence I was able to compete in my first competition and win. This was one of my proudest moments. I was the novice figure champion. I then tried my hand at other competitions over seas and I was hooked.
My Facts 'n Stats:
I started competing May 09 and it's a lot harder than it looks. Because of my height I have to put on more body mass. I have lost more than 20 pounds and I am now 138 and holding. I would like to go up to 150 of pure muscle and hit the stage in June a lean thick 150 pound.
My bodyPROUD Goals:
I am now in the gym and preparing to take part in the Figure Universe Competition in Miami Florida. I hope the place higher than I did in Las Vegas.

My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
I eat 6 - 8 small meals everyday. I work out 5 days per week, allocating one day for each body part. I am not doing too much cardio because I have the tendency to burn fat too quickly then I start to burn muscle. I am currently in the building phase and trying to hold on to all of my hard earned muscle.
