What started out as a hobby to bring in additional income, DanielCouture has quickly turned into a mission/passion to give back to people, groups, organizations and charities.

DanielCouture specializes on more expensive luxury items but has styles and prices for everyone. DanielCouture is influenced by more 'timeless' designs, responding to long-term trends rather than seasonal changes.

DanielCouture stands for providing quality products and creating opportunities for people to take part in helping others rebuild during this current economic challenge. When wearing the DanielCouture brand, its more than the style or name that lets people know where you stand, but rather what it [DanielCouture] stands for and represents.

Currently 50% of all profits go toward people struggling due to lay offs, economic stress, those suffering from illness to those abused or neglected. We try to focus our efforts where they are needed most, but always look to helping those that request it. With some hard work and support we are hoping to move from a 50% give-back to 100% in the very near future.

My BodyPROUD Story: Where to begin...lol...?

Since I can remember I've loved exerting my body to it's limits. Starting at a young age (6-7 i think), I can remember running laps in my backyard to get in better shape for soccer...it also helped that i had the "Eye of the Tiger" song blaring in my headphones. I just LOVED the way i felt!

However...as they say..."Life Happens" :)

Moving forward...many years...lol...

Like I said, I've always had fitness and nutrition a big part of my life, but i noticed other things compromising those core values i once placed a high importance on.

I went from, office desk jobs working 60+ hours a week and sometimes having two jobs at a time. Then on to other life's well...er...other "pluses". Got married...Bought a new house....then another, ya know for investment purposes. Renovated them both. Had a beautiful little girl (Trinity). Decided to move the family to the other side of the country for what I thought was another great office job...lol...more sitting! Within a year, got another great offer to head a department in another state...moved again.
I had another beautiful girl (Liberty). My girls are truly the greatest gifts i could have received and help push me everyday!....I love you girls!

Having felt a large void for those many years...I knew in my heart what was missing, but still couldn't grasp it. So on I went...

A year after taking the last job I was laid off....then it seemed like a domino effect! Shortly after, we had to foreclose on one of the homes and take a large loss on the other. Next we filed for bankruptcy. Due to the financial stress we decided to move from sunny southern California back to Michigan to get some help from family. Boy, i miss Cali...anyway. I was helping a relative renovate their house when I fell off a roof and injured my back adding nerve damage to my challenges. Because of all the stress our relationship took a big hit...we decide to divorce...uuggh! To try to help with the kids I decided to get my own place and did personal training on the side...getting back to what i loved. Michigan economy and the majority are not that into working out, let alone paying for it! So soon after I was evicted. Ah life!

I am not trying to whine or say my problems are that bad, because through it all I have and will always live life to the fullest! I love every day no matter how difficult the challenges. That's life! But it's also our choice and responsibility to respond to what happens to us!....and I choose to do it in a positive manner!

I started a clothing line www.DanielCouture.com . I still train those dedicated to making a change in their lives and spend every day with my beautiful girls. I came across the BodyProud.org site last year and LOVE IT! I love all the people i've met and the stories and interest we share. Since joining, i've finally gotten back to my focus! I am training for my first event the FAME WORLD Champs in Montreal. I know im not where i want to be...but with everyones support from body proud..i'm closer then i've ever been! THANK YOU ALL!
