- My BodyPROUD Story
- I have always loved to workout and to inspire people to help reach their goals!
My family is very supportive of me when it comes to dieting and preparing for a show. I've got the best two son's and husband, who I love dearly!
My philosophy in life is to enjoy it to your fullest and just be happy! Surround yourself with positive people and try to keep the negative away!
- My Facts 'n Stats:
- I was always active through school participating in Track, Cross Country and Gymnastic. In 1999 I started to compete, it was a personal goal for myself. I really enjoyed the whole process leading up to the show and during, so I decided to continue on competing and worked on making changes to my physique.
- My AHA Life Defining Moments:
- I love to compete for myself! In my life, I like to have a goal in which I set for myself and to achieve it is even better, of course it's nice to be able to win!
I have won a few times, in which my last win was 2005 at the IFBB North Americans in my Figure Class! I have been at Canadian National Level 4 times with my best placing being 5th in 2003 and last year a tie with 10th only 1 point away from 9th place.
The motivation is just within myself. I can be very "Bad" but also very desciplined with my diet! I love food, it's a good thing I enjoy working out.
- Life Advice that Helped Me:
- Set yourself a goal and follow through with it, and feel how proud of yourself you'll be!
- Please Help ME with:
- When I was younger I was so self conscious of the way I looked, as in I was "skinny" I tried so hard to put on weight, I would never wear shorts in the summer. It wasn't until I got out of High School and joined my first gym and then moved on to teach aerobics at another gym and met with the owner's son and he taught me how to use weight's and since then I was able to gain some weight. Finally I was able to wear short's and not feel embarassed!
- My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
- for people to see no matter what size you are, you can change your physique and like the way you look!

- Personal Trainer &/or Fitness Professional, Parent
