- My BodyPROUD Story
- My number one interests is sports, any and all of them. I love to snowboard, and would consider it my passion. I played soccer and ran track throughout high school. Other than sports some things I enjoy would be laying around by a pool, listening to music, and going out meeting new people. I love my family and I consider my close friends my family as well. My philosophy would have to be have fun with life, because you only get one shot at it, no regrets.
- My Facts 'n Stats:
- Hey, my name is Chris Marcu. I am a 23 year old resident of Las Vegas. I was born and raised in Ohio, up to the age of 18. So basic math would tell you that I have lived in Vegas for about 5 years now. I love it out here, but at the same time I am a simple man at heart and miss the simple times in a small town.
- My AHA Life Defining Moments:
- Well I placed third in the Sin City Fame competition in the fitness modeling class. I believe that I am now at level 3. I love the atmosphere of the competitions, the best part is when all eyes are on me on the stage. Getting a chance to show off what I have worked so hard for. My motivation is to be the best, and to maybe one day become a household name.
- To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:
- My goal is to become a succesfull model. I would also like to win the next show that I compete in. After that the sky is the limit.
- Life Advice that Helped Me:
- Dedication is the key, champions work hard even when no one is looking!
- How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:
- Always choose proper form over heavy weight.
Always stretch and warm up before a workout.
- Please Help ME with:
- I started to lift weights my freshmen year of high school. My close friend Greg introduced me to the weight room. He was my motivation and mentor. We both played soccer and ran track, but we were working out with the football team, and competing in power lifting meets with the team. I won regionals my Senior year and set two meet records, and finished fifth overall at the state lifting meet (at 155lbs.) Now five years later I continue to work out. My new focus is for modeling competitions as oppposed to lifting competitions. I am now 185lbs and I finished 3rd in my first fitness modeling competition, which was the Fame Sin City competition.
- My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
- I want to get my name and face out there.
- Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:
- Being on stage and hearing my name called out for third place in my category. I hope to update this with more and more proud moments.
