- I've always been into athletics, though not very good at any one sport. Once I learned that movement could improve the quality of life in anyone, and perhaps even extend life, I decided to be a leader in the fitness industry.
seeing friends and family suffer and pass away from Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases only strengthened my resolve to seek out knowledge and methods whcih could most effectively inspire, motivate and educate my country to live better.
Becoming a fitness competitor is just one of those methods.

- The body is a vessel which should be treated with respect. It is also a tool that can be used to strengthen mind and spirit. While no-one should be judged by the state of their body, everyone should also understand the principle of "what is inside is shown on the outside".

- Find someone who is better at what you want to do and follow them and their advice.
- How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:
- Movement can be truly medicinal when combined with clean eating and positive thoughts! It's not easy to combine the three but with daily concentration on being better, everyone can make a positive change in themselves and by extension others, by influencing one person at a time. Light one candle, light the world!
- Please Help ME with:
- Getting endorsement deals, landing magazine spots and being a writer for magazines. I like to write and I believe that I would enjoy helping others through my writing.
- My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
- I eat green, eat lean, lift/move for fun and smile while doing almost everything!
I train most days of the week and try to get in some basketball when not close to a fitness competition (can't risk injury).
- Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:
- Completing my first duathlon (NOTL), graduating from York University and winning my second Personal Trainer of the Year award (2007)!
