My Plug:: I am a hospital pharmacist.Health and lifestyle consultent!

My BodyPROUD Story: Well i am an Italian South African if that makes sence!. I love anything to do with the beach and the sea! I love being in the sun wether playing rugby or just hiking. My philosophy is what ever you do, do it 100%. and the only way through it is to do it! God and family come first

My Facts 'n Stats:: My name is Antonio Ballan, I am 25 and a qualified pharmacist. I love the outdoors and most of all i love keeping in shape and I am very body proud! I am currently living in a beautiful costal town called knysna on the western cape in South Africa! You should see this place! its beautiful, if you love nature!

My bodyPROUD Goals:: Well I only entered this year for the first time and I came second in the pro male fitness model section at FAME national's, but Icame back from that and a week later looking 10times better took the Fitness SA pagent in the fitness model section! one of the Judges even gave me 100% for the body round! I also won the model section at the exergise awards last year in my first fitness show two 4weeks after competing in the South African nationals WPF mens heavey weight devision(where i realised i was not big enough for bodybuilding!)

My AHA Life Defining Moments:: Well I love being on stage! I worked hard for this physique so I like to let people know I am proud of my achievements. I also love meeting people with the same values and goals as me! Its so easy to get along with all the fitness competitors cause we all think the same! not to mention the woman are amazing! And we all a bit mad!

My Transformation Triumphs!: Well i am a semi finalist in the Mr South Africa contest and I just won the Fitness SA pagent and I was on of South Africa's top 15 bachelor's of the year for Cleo Magazine.just came back from miami where i won the fame pro fitness mode devision! also just signed a year contract with muscle science!

My bodyPROUD Intentions:: Well I am a pharmacist so if i do open my own pharmacy I will stock all kind of supplements but now i am sponcered by evox so I just sell the supplements. Would like to develope and manufacture and market my own brand eventually

To Become BodyPROUD, I commit to do the Following:: Well I have done well in South Africa winning a few titals but i want to compete at the FAME world champs and also hopefully get noticed by some big brands. I am also a Mr South Africa semi finalist and hoping to win the title! Be the next FAME PRO fitness model world champion!

Life Advice that Helped Me:: Dont rush! Results take time! and diet is the most critical part of the puzzel!

How I Boosted my Confidence and/or Added Joy and/or Health into my Life:: When competing, compete with integrity cause even if you dont win you at least kept your dignety and intergity and if you win you won with integrity! Also my body is a gift from God so I will never do anything to harm it in the longrun

Please Help ME with:: I was always sporty and was a good swimmer and then in high school was big into rugby and cricket but when i started studying I went off the rails and stopped sport and started drinking but I still carried on training. Ihen i had a major accident that woke me up and made me get my ass into gear! I stopped drinking and started training hard core and I competed in bodybuilding while in my final year of varsity and I won my division in all 3 shows I did that year and my marks at varsity went up 10%. Then I reallised the next year that I cant get big enough naturally to compete in bodybuilding so I went into fintess modeling! and I have been doing fitness for a year now and I have not looked back!

My Dietary &/or Training Routine:: I want to network with other fitness athletes and give and get advise! And to make contacts!

Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:: Winning the exergise awards in my first fitness show and winning fitness sa my first time competing in that show. Becomin the new FAME North American PRO fitness model champion. Signing with muscle science

My Hero / Role Model / Trainer / Sponsor / Coach / Guru... and Why: I train myself and I do mainly free weight training and I change my routine every 3to4weeks! My gym is very limited so I have to just make due with what I have!sponsored by muscle science!!
