Profile Information
- My BodyPROUD Story
- I started this journey 2years ago after getting my certification as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. I wanted to improve some damaged self esteem and become a healthy role model for my teenage daughter. I started at 164lbs and manged to lose 20lbs on my own just working through the training programs I used on my clients. One day I asked my friend Jason for some help to lose more weight and develope more muscle so I would feel good in a bikini. He was amazingly supportive and instrumental in teaching me about clean eating and helped me not only lose the weight but he also convinced me to enter my first copetition withFAME in March of 2008 and I won first place in the Masters Division at 43 years old!!! I lost a total of 43lbs by that day and have never looked back. It was an amazing journey and it has helped me to better inspire and motivate my clients and make my daughter proud of me!!!

- Train the body, mind and spirit not just to compete, but for life and wellness of being.

- Life Advice that Helped Me:
- Never give up no matter what may seem an obstacle. Live life now. Don't wait!
- My Dietary &/or Training Routine:
- Right now (Dec 1) I am training HARD 6 days a week and eating a bit more than usual until Jason(my trainer)trims my diet down in the new year and adds cardio. Normally I train 3-4 days of resistance and 3- 4 days of cardio and generally i eat pretty clean and healthy.
- Expressing Gratitude is a Key Ingredient to a Happy Life. I Am Grateful for:
- My beautiful daughter; my health; life. A second chance.
- My Hero / Role Model / Trainer / Sponsor / Coach / Guru... and Why
- I would have to say that my daughter is my hero. I do not know if Iwould be the survivor that I am had she not been brought into my life. My trainer is Jason Neil and he has had nothing but fath and belief in me since we met and he is still right there beside me push me and keep me challenged. My beautiful friend Tammy is also a gift and role model in my life. She has taught me that friendship holds no judgement and that kindred spirits really do exist.
