Kathleen--good luck! I missed most of the conversation. You mention pain. Is it fibro? I know a couple of people with that (including me). I've learned to keep going because the alternative is not good. But so many others live miserable and limited lives. I've become sedentary though and am trying to change that. I'd like to keep up with your story. Maybe your challenge is something else, but whatever it is, you can be an inspiration to others! But I'm sure you know that. I'd like to carry your story to my little sphere of influence if that's okay! Anyone else too. Let me know.

Those who are physically challenged can be as successful as those who are in excellent physical health. If you are disabled or physically handicapped, you just need extra determintion to achieve your goals. You must go the extra mile to reach your goals, but if you have courage and determination, you will succeed.

Excellent decision Kathleen, I am very confident you won't regret it. A competition gives you focus and a specific goal within a specific timeframe. I am sure you will blow them away! Keep us informed on your progress... the greater the challenge, the greater the reward. -Brent-

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered
by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer
much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."

Brent... I AM PRAYING for you, Paul and everyone this gives hope too. I pray that this kind of 'outside the box' thinking to catch like wildfire...and spread on and on....

I designed my own box, crawled around my own box... sat inside, underside and beside my own box...cause i did not like anyone else's idea of what my box should contain...
THIS PROVES IT!!! Woohoooo..NOW ...
MIRACLES WILL HAPPEN - and they are oming for YOU!

Can you imagine the implications and possibilities if MS was proven to be a physiological problem rather than an auto-immune disorder? I'd be willing to have an ultrasound to check my neck vein size. Sounds simple and painless, so why not further the study be checking everyone with MS as part of the standard yearly checkup.
Here's hoping...
