FAME MODEL COMPETITIONS

Set your Body Proud goals to hit the FAME Stage and showcase your new physique!

TYPES OF MODEL CATEGORIES

* Swimsuit Model - 1 Round of Competition (Swimsuit) - Females.

* Fitness Model - 2 Rounds of Competition (Swimsuit & Themewear) - Males & Females.

* Muscle Model - 2 Rounds of Competition (Swimsuit & Themewear) - Males & Females.

* Toned Twosome (Couples) - 1 Round of Competition (Themewear) - Mixed Pair or Single Gender.

It's important to note that physique judging will be based on the criteria for the particular division where the athlete is competing.

OVERVIEW of ALL MODEL CATEGORIES

The FAME Model Divisions are designed for those competitors who want to show off their physical development and conditioning as well as their personality, style, and marketability on stage.

Plus, there is an opportunity to move up to become a FAME Pro Model.

Competitors will be judged on physique, overall appearance, confidence, personality, walk and turns, stage presence, individuality, outfit suitability, posture, modeling marketability, and overall presentation.

During each round of competition i competitors first walk individually across the stage to either one or three specific points (depending on the round), turning at each point to show their physique to the judges from multiple angles.

After completing the walking portion of each round, competitors will then be judged in a lineup with the rest of the competitors in their division. All competitors' physiques and overall presentation will be evaluated in the four quarter turn positions. Judges may request call outs to compare certain competitors against each other to determine the placing for that round.

Comment by FAME World Tour on July 7, 2009 at 10:37pm: @Ayisha - To compete athletes just need to be a member (good for a year) and cover the registration fee. Any other expense is up to you on how you want to present yourself at the show. The high heeled shoes with clear bottoms are recommended as well as suit that best suit your physique. Many Fitness Model and Muscle Models athletes do get their suits professionally made, but that is not mandatory. Swimsuit Models generally just get a beach type bikini. Hope this helps!

@ Oscar - Great to see that you'll be joining us at the FAME North American Championships in Florida! Judging is based on your physique - ensuring it is representative of that category - as well as how your present yourself (posture, confidence, walk out, turns) and attitude. The first round is a swimsuit round and the second round is themewear where many athletes do come out in elaborate costume while many others just portray a theme. Whatever you choose it's best to ensure that the judges can still view your physique and that you match your presentation to the theme. It's great to be creative and have fun with it. Personality definitely adds a great touch. You look great in your photos so yes, you definitely do have potential. :-))

Can someone tell me about the rules and guidelines on how they judge you and what you have to do to win?? And what is up with the costumes? It looks different from where I'm used to doing on stage.I need some HELP, I'm thinking about doing the one in FL.

If you want to add a second category you can also do Swimsuit Model which is a good category to be seen by more mainstream media and sponsors. At the FAME Worlds the model categories are on different days so it's a good idea to crossover. :-)
