I lost 80 pounds doing a low carb diet..I love it and it works wonderful for me. It had to be a lifesytle change because as soon as you try to add too many carbs back in it comes back in the form of bulging FAT..that is how I got soooooo big from yo yoing back and forth..one must commit to making the whole change and I eat a well balanced and delicious diet and I eat ALL The time and deprive myself of nothing including low carb chocolates all the time!! LOL..Nicole is that you in the blue suit in the picture? I love the cut of that suit..love to know where u got it from??? smiles
I will be experimenting with a low carb diet for the next 3-4 months. I think it depends a lot on body type too. I don't think going low carb should be done for long term "lifestyle" purposes, but I do think for fitness competitors the diet is a must for "showing" as it does help to define musculature and keeps the body from retaining water!
