From Skinny to Lean & Fit

From Skinny to Lean & Fit

Jason Millarwas always a skinny kid for growing up. At age 16 he weighed a mere skinny 70 lbs and ended up getting mocked about it. Instead of putting up with the torment, he took matters into his own hands and started lifting weights. It paid off. He gained size, muscle and strength. More importantly he realized his true passion in life and became a personal trainer to instill in others that they too can become body proud. His main advice? "Nutrition is just as important as a trainer if not more important. Getting the body you want is all about lifestyle starting with the fuel we put into our body". He suggests you eat healthy, natural, small balanced meals spread throughout the day. Meals should consist of good quality proteins such as white meat and/or fish, healthy carbohydrates, fibre from vegetables and fruits and plenty of water (about 8 fl oz). Your workouts too, should be balanced between strength training, core strength, stabilizer work, cardio and flexibility. No longer the skinny guy, Jason is simply, body proud.

I have never had trouble adding weight to my frame, but for those of you who do have trouble gaining weight, here are some useful tips. Increase the number of calories you consume daily by 500. Decrease the amount of cardiovascular activity you perform, and go as heavy as you can in your weight training program. If you follow these tips, you should start gaining weight soon. Good luck.

If you have a fast metabolism, and have trouble gaining weight, eat more calories, and reduce the amount of cardiovascular training you perform. You should also follow a weight training program that requires you to lift heavy weights with low repititions. This will add muscle size and strength to your body.

Increase the amount of calories you consume and reduce your cardiovasculare training. People who are thin, have a very fast metabolism and must take the proper measures to gain the right amount of bodyweight they need. Workout with the heaviest weights and eat large meals..........don't lose hope, but just keep pumping that iron.

Hi I've only started training on my own, but so unsure of wot to do. I have a very small frame, skinny legs and arms, but fat / overweight on my tummy - this I think is from never excercising and not eating properly. I have health problems affecting my nervous system so am not able to run, or jump and can't do many type of leg excercises, but really want to get muscle and strength in my legs. I hate people commenting on how skinny I am. Wot type of excercises can I do for my legs, to reduce my weight on tummy and to build muscle on arms?

Adjust your training when your workout routine no longer gives you the results you want. Change the exercises, the number of repititions, and even the amount of weight you lift. If you change your routine once every month, that will keep your muscles in a state of confusion and will stimulate muscular growth. This will translate into larger, stronger muscles that will impress the judges at your next bodybuilding contest and will keep the women hanging on your arms for support.

A great way to gain weight is to eat Kentucky Fried Chicken. Last night after I left Forest Park Lawndale cemetary, I had a craving for fried chicken. I wanted to go to KFC, but there was none to be found. I was on my new 14 speed Schwinn racing bike and as I traveled east on Lawndale, I saw a Popeye's Fried Chicken. I stopped at Popeye's and brought my bike into the store. I ordered 8 pieces of spicy chicken and a chicken sandwich. I sat down for a few minutes and ate. The food was delectable. In fact, it was mouthwatering. I do not gain weight, because I am physically active, but for the average person who is not so active, fried chicken is a great way to gain weight. Have a wonderful evening.

I have never had touble adding bodyweight, size, and strength. I have always had a powerful, well developed body. My body responds quickly to weight training and cardiovascular training. However, if you suffer from being too thin, you must do the following: Reduce the amount of cardiovascular training, increase the number of calories you eat, and increase the amount of weight you lift. If you do all this, you will add size and strength. Good luck.

You can create the body you want, but it takes time, effort, and determination. With the right kind of knowledge and plenty of effort in the gym, you can build an impressive world class physique that will rival anyone you will meet at the beach or the public swimming pool.
