Here is a question that most bodybuilders and athletes have asked several times over the past half century. What is the best way to reduce body fluiid before a contest? Here are some possible options:

1. Sitting in a sauna long enough to lose the waterweight.
2. Water pills.
3. Diet pills.
4. Reducing your fluid intake.
5. Stopping all fluiid intake (this could be dangerous). It may lead to severe cramping of all the muscles, including the heart.

Tell me which of the above options is the best one to follow. Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

A. A. Garcia

Do you have to be bone dry to win a contest? This is dangerous.
None of the above: Simply stated you need to remain as hydrated as possible if you want to insure you will not retain water. As a natural athlete you never want to consider any other option other than staying 100% hydrated at all times. That is especially important the week leading up to contest day and most importantly the big day itself. Edema ( water retention) is caused by dehydration ,WATER IS YOUR FRIEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember that and the judges will love you for it.
Thanks for your response. I had the misconception that to have a dried look on your contest day, you must dehydrate yourself. You have been very helpful.
