Weight loss after heart attack

Thanks to some fantastic indiana heart physicians I am on the road to complete recovery after a mild heart attack and heart surgery. The doctors also performed an angioplasty and started me on a diet and exercise program. I have lost 22 pounds so far and am considering weight loss surgery to speed up the process. First I need to decide if it is safe and get an OK from my doctor. I was wondering if any readers have had gastric bypass surgery after a heart attack and were there any difficulties doing that. I need to drop almost 100 pounds, so I need the help.
