Now that my daughter is on both solid food and the breast I have resumed supplementation to help combat the fat brought on by her pregnancy and the remaining fat from her brother's.

I am presently taking the following
CLA
ALA
Co Q 10
Apple Cider Vinegar
and Omega 3 with DHA

From what I know all of these supplements are safe to take while breast feeding.

I'm taking the Co Q 10 and Omega 3 for the antioxidant benifits the rest to help eliminate the body fat.

My exercise levels are much lower than I wish they were, still basically walks with the stroller full of kids and cargo in front of me. I take as many hills as I can during my daily errands, and chase my son around the playgrounds.

Is there anything else I can take that would be safe for the breast milk that would help me attack the bulge and baggage from two pregnancies?

Also...

I am still sleep deprived due to both kids waking me and them being very early risers...I know sleep is crucial to maintaining and repairing muscle...This said should I be trying any weights/resistance training here at home?

I could only fit it in after the kids have gone to bed for the night, but energy levels at the end of the day are sometimes an issue.

Any input would be appreciated...Thanks!

Hi Tammy! You are taking the right supplements, but you may want to add a pre/postnatal multivitamin. The only way you will lose the weight is if you watch your diet (in a nutshell, really watch white flour, excess sugar, and try to stick to just water, tea, or coffee for your drinks), lift weights, and add some intensity to your cardio. I highly recommend taking the kids to a gym facility that has daycare so that you can work out there during the day. At night you're just too tuckered out to have a proper workout. Invest in a Personal Trainer if you can - well worth the money if you're not sure of weightlifting techniques. Hope that helps. Good luck from one mother to another.
