Pierre Lajoie's Rise to FAME!
Pierre Lajoie won an all expense paid trip to compete in the FAME CSNS European Championships in the Czech Republic, just by winning the bodybuilding Pro title at the FAME World Championships in Montreal. This was a VIP trip of a lifetime, and very much appreciated by this self-proclaimed "farm boy" who only started competing this year, jumping aboard the FAME Train, hitting 4 major pit-stops on the 2009 FAME World Tour.
It all started a year and a half ago when Pierre recognized that he had sculpted himself a fantastic physique and felt ready to pursue his natural bodybuilding competition dreams. He immediately got to work, hiring a trainer who taught him the inside scoop on how to be successful on stage and suggested that he compete in the FAME World Tour. Says Pierre " I thank her for that. FAME has been awesome!I Plus, I laugh now at how I used to eat, thinking I was eating healthy.
After making his debut at FAME West - and winning the overall, Pierre knew he had made the right choice.
"What a RUSH!!.... From the crowd right down to the friendliness of everyone I met. Not at all that I was expecting! Then I was hooked!
In fact, he was so hooked that he actually followed the FAME World Tour from pit-stop to pit-stop, impressing the judges with his physique, presentation, skills, personality and down-to-earth friendliness, which won him the title of FAME's newest Pro, a spot in FAME's international poster campaign, and the grand prize winner of the 2009 FAME World Championships!
I had such a blast making new friends and meeting important people that are now part of my new lifestyle. Oh ... it was pretty sweet being announced as the new FAME World champion and then being awarded a trip to the FAME- CSNS European Championship in Czech Republic. What an awesome day that was for me! I am so glad to have been part of that event, making new friends from other countries in that process.
So what's up next for Pierre?
Well he decided that the FAME Stage is where his heart is, so he decided that "I would like to really concentrate my life to this on a whole other level. So a fellow bodybuilder and I decided we will host our own FAME show and will be doing so next year. Very excited for that! Lots of ideas brewing in our heads and it should be interesting".
Plus, he's super stoked for next year, already planning his training and modifying his goals to outdo his performance from this year! Very exciting!! :-)
