Most of us drink orange juice. But is orange juice a healthy drink? I used to drink two large containers of orange juice every two weeks. It tasted great and it added variety to my diet. After several months I found out that orange juice is loaded with sugar and calories. I am in the process of losing weight, so taking in extra calories and sugar does not make any sense. It is counterproductive. I stopped drinking orange juice almost three months ago, and I have noticed the changes in my body. My waistline is now two inches smaller and I spend less at the grocery store.
On the other hand, if you are not planning to lose weight, drinking orange juice is a good source of Vitamin C.
