FAME FIGURE DIVISIONS - Women Only

Overview:

The FAME Figure Divisions are designed for those female competitors who want to be judged solely on physical development, conditioning, and presentation in competition suits with no themewear rounds.

There are TWO divisions of FAME Figure that competitors can choose from. Competitors may choose either Figure-Physique (see below) or Figure - Posing & Routine, depending on how they would like to present their physique onstage.

FIGURE - PHYSIQUE: - New for 2009!
The Figure -Physique division consists of 1 Round of Judging:

Comparison (1/4 &/or 1/2 turn) in Two Piece Competition Suit and Heels.

This division is comparable to the division known simply as Figure in other competitive organizations. Athletes stand in a semi-relaxed stance (much more rigid than in a model competition) and display their physique by way of quarter and/or half turns. Turns are always performed to the right.

NOTE:
Athletes who participate in the Figure -Physique category may also opt to participate in the Muscle Model Search as well since the physiques are similar. The prime differences being that athletes are much more relaxed on stage; personality & personal flair are important; and there is a themed wear round where athletes select a theme and have the opportunity to play it up center stage!

ENJOY!!!

This new category is what made me decide to finally compete after years of hard training, I think it's great that women can now show there physique in more of a sport/bodybuilding frame without having to gain to much mass to be able to do so.

With only one round and one suit to prepare with, it's also much more doable for those of us that struggle to compete with a tight budget, thank-you
