Thank you to EVERYONE who participated! You are all Champions and should be PROUD!!! Even if you were hoping to place higher, please know that you are all winners. For future events, it just a matter of tweaking your training style, outfit, stage presentation, posing accuracy and/or increasing your comfort level on stage... So reflect on the positive and focus on the show as a learning experience!

I was so impressed by all the athletes who competed at Nationals. It was an honor to have them be part of the Body Proud Family.

Hi Everyone,
Well, another successful competition is in the books, and we couldn't have done it without you...literally;) It was such a pleasure to see familiar faces again, as well as meet so many wonderful new athletes too!!!! I want to congratulate each and every one of you on achieving what you set out to do and accomplishing things that truly inspire others in their journey to become Body Proud too!

Again, this was such a relaxed backstage atmosphere, and I love being able to hang out and laugh with you all...this is one of the biggest reasons I continue to be involved and love the FAME family!

I hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as I did, and I look forward to seeing you all on stage again soon!!

The 12th Annual FAME Canadian Nationals was special to us! One of the first shows we ever organized took place in Vancouver and this was the first time that we brought the Nationals our there, so it felt a little bit like coming full circle!
For me this was also really a fun event, why? Well I got to just chill and I really enjoyed getting to know a lot of you outside your Body Proud profile! :)

With a new and great Head Judge in place (Derrick you did an amazing job), a very solid judging panel, an amazing backstage and volunteer crew, and a fantastic co-MC (Kevin you continue to make the shows fun for everyone!), this was the first event where I really had the opportunity to just relax! It was a lot of fun taking pictures, shooting videos and just chatting with lots of you. I really enjoyed the experience!

So congratulations again to everyone for being part of the show and showcasing your body proud physique on the FAME Stage! For those of you coming out to the FAME International Championships in Florida, have a good flight, and for the rest of you enjoy your down time. See you soon! To all athletes: Please be sure to update your Body Proud profile page and upload your favorite photos. Add blogs, comments and your words o' wisdom. You guys are now ROLE MODELS and will have people checking in on you. The more active you are, the more exposure you get. The more exposure you get, the more opportunities you have to reach your dreams. The more opportunities you have to reach your dreams, the more you will be able to inspire body proud. The more you will be able to inspire body proud, the more excitement you will feel. The more excitement you will feel, the happier we all are. The happier we all are, the more positive energy we emit. The more positive energy we emit, the more we make other people happy.
