Body Proud is a 'Choice' Make it Yours!

Your body is the Ultimate Machine and it's the greatest gift you have, regardless of its capabilities. Choosing to honor yourself. nourish your organs, build proper posture, strengthen your musculature and focus your mind are all great ways to cherish your 'home'.

For some, Body Proud goals are to improve health, their life situation and/or further personal growth. For others it's the actual physique transformation that they seek and the opportunity to showcase themselves on the FAME World Tour competition stage.

Regardless of your goals and no matter what stage Body Proud you are, as soon as you choose Body Proud, you have entered into the realm of Body Proud... so you too can say "I AM BODY PROUD!"

Here are some of the concepts, products &/or services that Body Proud embraces:


CONCEPTS

POSTURE
Posture is everything... Appearance, confidence, how you feel, how you age etc.


PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Vary it up! Ensure all exercises are done with proper form and focus... and have fun doing them!


STRETCHING
Maintain or regain the flexibility of which your body is capable! Yoga is fantastic for this. Remember to focus.


VISUALIZATION
Important to help realize your goals and stay focused.


POSITIVE THINKING
You will feel better when you start looking for, and recognize, the positive in ALL situations.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
People react based on their past experiences and upbringing. Realize this and understand there is an underlying reason for all responses and reactions. Truly LISTEN. Once you do you will be able to communicate much more efficiently.


LOVE
Love yourself. Love your friends. Love your family. Love your neighbor. Love strangers. Even love those who were not nice to you in the past.


COMPASSION & UNDERSTANDING
Even if you were not happy with what someone said or did, recognize that it stems from some form of 'hurt'; misunderstanding of certain concepts; lack of all details; or defense mechanism that they most likely don't even realize. OR they are reacting to something you said or did which stemmed from your own 'hurt'; misunderstanding of certain concepts; lack of all details; or defense mechanism that you don't even realize you have. Either way, bottom line is, everyone is a good person. Life happens, the brain internalizes experiences, and personalities emerge based on that.. Understand this and move beyond.


BEING PRESENT
Every moment is now. Leave the past in the past and allow the future to become the present when its time arrives. That means that your attention should always be on what you are focused on right then and there... ie. no time for guilt (past) or worry (future).


BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Since the past is gone, you are recreating yourself every moment of every situation. So think you can, know you can, believe you can... and you can!


AVOID THE 'WHAT IFS'
'What Ifs' don't matter. You actually create them based on just thinking them. Should any situation arise that you wish had not happened that way, just deal with it then. No biggie.


GOING GREEN
Protect and respect the environment!


WHOLE FOODS
Avoid processed and nutritionally deficient foods. Minimize foods fried foods and foods made with white sugar, iodized salt and white flour as there is really no nutritional value. When possible choose organics. Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.


BALANCE YOUR FOODS
Make sure you get healthy fats, protein and carbohydrates every day. You may opt to balance each meal. Good sources of fats are salmon, an oil blend from a health store, fish oils... Good sources of protein include fish and chicken (with out the skin) as well as hemp, bean, pea, whey protein. Good sources of carbohydrates include oatmeal (large flakes), sweet potatoes, vegetables, fruits.

Many members choose to showcase their Body Proud physique in competition events around the world. These events are extremely valuable in enhancing focus, desire and dedication required to ensure goals are met by a certain date. Categories // Event Schedule Plus the stage provides an amazing platform to reveal transformations and share successes! Many such individuals become Magazine Cover Models, sponsored athletes even local heroes. Several also create new life paths following their new-found passion to develop a career in the health, model or fitness industry.

I have been body proud all of my adult life and will continue to do so.
I will be aged 60yrs in July and my body is testament to my discipline and motivation.

Do any of these body builders have prevailing problems in their sex life?  I thought that if you take of your clothes, tan and oil your skin, and flex your muscles or breasts in that way, you are sort of sending a very sexual message to the world.  Some people find themselves becoming 'too attractive', or even their websites drawing negative attention from bad people.
Body building can actually be very bad for your brain and mental abilities if you're not doing it right.  Don't forget to study, read, and take classes when you can, and avoid lifestyle choices that are bad for your mind.  There are so many accidents caused by trying to become too strong, too quick, or too powerful.  You know the old stereotype, that athletes are too dumb and stupid.  Try to achieve a balance in your life and focus on a goal or direction that will make you a good person all around.  One man achieved a goal of lifting 700 lbs!  Then suddenly his knees tore out and he required surgery.  What went wrong?  He pushed his body too hard and set goals that were far beyond normal human abilities.  Many many body builders and muscle men are in jails serving time because they wanted to be big and strong to win fights, hurt people, steal things, or do other bad deed to society.  How do you think they feel about having all that muscle if they're locked in a prison cell for the rest of their life?  A little bit of education in psychology can teach you about how the brain works, and when activity becomes abusive, and damaging to your health in the future.  Too many people who have worked too hard in the gym, returned to their families or their jobs only to find themselves in a shouting match or a huge fight with the people that they once cared about.  If you build up all that muscle and energy will you even be a good lover?  A good friend?  Or a good person at all?  Or will people only think that you have become abusive, arrogant, and unkind to other people?  Will your lover think that you are becoming sexually abusive, too hard, or hurting people?  Of course that is what happens when strength becomes excessive.  Another thing is don't be ashamed of your body if you are different.  Some people will be thin, and some people will be fat, some will be fast and some will be slow.  Nobody has all the good qualities and none of the bad, because that is not possible.  The fitness of your body is actually the result of the activities and needs of your whole life, and as the human body continues to grow your body will change and adapt.
