What is MMADE?

MMADE (Muscles Making a Difference EVERYWHERE!) is an exciting, unique, grassroots program from FAME World Tour and the Body Proud Tribe! It's got a simple, 3-fold mission:

* To give our FAME Pro Ambassadors a chance to shine! They have to have prove that that they exemplify the Body Proud lifestyle at its best through their “body as art” sculpted physique; mental discipline; community service work; and willingness to use their life and physicality to inspire others to live a similar natural, healthy, fit Body Proud lifestyle.

* To bring much-needed media coverage to the places where our FAME Pro Ambassadors speak or work. Let’s be real: the media loves beautiful bodies! So whether it's speaking to high schoolers, or stripping down and oiling up to help build a senior center, the FAME Pro Ambassador invites the kind of inspired, innovative, heart-centered media coverage – and increased donations – non-profit organizations need.

* To show FAME Athletes and Body Proud Community members – up close and personal – that Doing Good Feels Good AND It Pays Well to Do Good! The major coverage that gets generated between the FAME Pro Ambassador and their non-profit partner is EXACTLY the kind of positive branding PR on FOR-profit corporations crave! FAME can negotiate PR, sponsorship dollars, and endorsement opportunities on the ambassador’s behalf. At a minimum, having PR in your portfolio – for having done community outreach using your superhero body and Body Proud lifestyle – earns you significant reward points within the Body Proud Ranking and Rewards system. And that rapidly translates into career-enhancing and money-making opportunities through our system.

Here’s What Malachi Gets To Do…

1. Be the first FAME Pro Ambassador to East Africa: At one point Malachi got choked up and asked me, “You mean, you want ME to go to The Motherland?” I was very typically eloquent: “Yup”, I grinned. Somebody gets to go first – Malachi is The Man for this one.

2. Have a 5-star, all-expenses paid experience in Kenya and Uganda. That means that – as the FAME Event’s guest poser – his accommodations, meals, and transportation is paid for across 2 countries.

3. Get interviews and international media coverage Including with NTV Kenya, NTV Uganda, KTN TV, and The Daily Nation, and others. These are THE largest, most important media channels for all of Eastern Africa. Their reporters are often also journalists for media channels like The Wall Street Journal; Associated Press; and network TV stations. He is also being covered, for all 4 days and across his public activities, by ALL of the major media

4. Ride the FAME Train in East Africa!: As the FAME Pro Ambassador to East Africa, Malachi gets to guest pose and speak at the FAME event.

5. Educate, inspire, and bring hope to Kenyan street children. Malachi’s presence will increase donations to the orphanages he visits because of the international press coverage he’s receiving. So he gets to DIRECTLY help clothe, feed, and educate the children he’ll meet just by being himself. Malachi's past life experience makes him an excellent inspiration to these former street children. He’ll speak to them about standing up, getting and staying off drugs, and that you can be a success regardless of how humble your beginnings may be. He’ll visit the following street childrens’ homes:

* Lewa Children’s Home
* Neema Children’s Home
* Rescue Centre
* Umbrella Falls

6. Trade Cross-Cultural Stories About University Life: Since Malachi is a university student in America, he’ll have a special appreciation for getting to spend time trading stories about his American university life with Kenyan students. He’ll speak and demo at the following campuses:

* Annex University (MOI)
* Chepkoilel Campus

7. Be an honoured VIP at the first 10-country, African-sponsored, Pan-African physique event. FAME World Tour’s event model was chosen because it is based in “cooperative competition”. That model balances cooperative critique with standardized ranking competition. It’s exactly the kind of cutting-edge, peaceful model needed for this multi-country event where some formerly warring nations can be the manifestation of FAME’s mission, “Uniting The World Through Fitness.”

8. Erase Cultural Barriers: Gulab Lochab School is the Indian community primary school in Eldoret. The East Indian community has not yet become involved in the sport of bodybuilding, so Malachi's visit will be a welcome, educational challenge to them. [Sounds like a PERFECT opportunity to invite them to their own special “Body Proud Challenge” to me! ;-))) ]

9. See How They “Pump It Up” in Kenya!: Malachi will lead a FAME Camp Tools and Tips seminar at Billy Fitness Depot and will be available for one-on-one training sessions. Most of the top bodybuilders from Kenya workout there. BFD is also one of the FAME event sponsors.

10. Experience How Big Heart Can Build Big Muscle: Matomeni Gym is a local gym that needs donations and support. The FAME Event Producer, Kalyango Lubael, visited Matomeni Gym, in Western Africa, in early 2009 and was deeply moved by the athletes’ circumstances and dedication. Here’re the FAME Train Station Visits for Malachi…

11. THURSDAY, January 28, 2010 (my 50th birthday):

* Malachi arrives in Nairobi International Airport. It’s 163 kilometers (just over 100 miles) from Nairobi to Eldoret, Kenya.
* He checks in at his upscale hotel in Eldoret.

12. FRIDAY, January 29, 2010:

* He gets interviewed in International and local media junket and press conference, for local and international media, in his honour. His interviews will be streamed and shown across the internet.

13. SATURDAY, January 30; 2010 (The Day of the 1st Annual FAME East Africa Championship!)

*Malachi talks with the children of the Sikh primary school.
*It’s the day of the MAIN Event and he gets to guest pose!
* Malachi speaks to the participants, after prejudging, about the dangers of using banned substances in bodybuilding and fitness.

14. SUNDAY, January 31, 2010:

* Malachi visits a local church
* He meets and talks with with the Eldoret street kids.
* Interviewed, LIVE, on a talk show on KTN TV in the evening.

15. During his stay, Malachi will also visit some local gyms in the Eldoret Area. Kalyango will personally take him around, together with Paul Mwangale, the most recognized bodybuilder in East Africa.

16. Malachi will spend time in Nairobi National Park.

17. All of Malachi’s activities and movements will be covered by the local, Kenyan, and Ugandan media.

18. Malachi – who is a devout Southern Baptist – will have interviews on Christian radio and TV stations across Kenya.

19. Malachi will visit Kampala, Uganda, the Event Producer’s hometown.

20. He will be interacting with male and female people of ages between 10 to over 45 years. Most of them can listen, speak and write in English. There will be an interpreter available at all times for those who can't speak English. He will be informing the people about the dangers of drug abuse and how they can become responsible people in their communities.
