What Keeps Me Young At Heart @ 47 yrs of age...............

While walking the mall in a pair of shorts; t-shirt and running shoes these two lovely stunning ladies - I would say approx 18 yrs of age came up to me stating "sorry to bother you but we just had to say how great you look - we want a physique like yours". When I told them my age they couldn't believe it. The two then finally stated "Well I hope I look like that when I'm in my 40s" I've had hundreds of people approach me in the past mentioning the same thing. NOW the reason for this note.........all you beautiful young ladies and gentlemen out there want to stay young at heart........you MUST start looking after yourself now.........I started living a healthy lifestyle in my early 20's! I've lifted weights over 25 yrs.......and I will never stop.........I try to eat clean during the week. I enjoy my weekends with wine; all the foods I love......Remember pay yourself 1st .........a balance life is a healthy lifestyle - Mind; Body and Spirit.

Remember CONSISTENCY is the key........

I have been in the fitness industry since 1982 (26 years) as a fitness instructor, personal trainer and marathon runner. My goal before I turn 60 is to actually place first in my April 09 competition which I am working on now. I have people dropping their jaws when they find out my age.
I have tons of energy always have, I am a very proud person in every sense of the word proud. I keep very active still instructing three 1 1/2 hr. classes per week, train 6 days per week and train clients 5 days per week and still manage to take of my husband and home. Being a disciplined person, when I set out to reach a goal no matter how hard, I JUST DO IT!!!!!!

At nearly 52, I've been athletic all my life, but my spirit and laughter has always kept me young. Dabblin' in mischief here and there will undoubtedly keep a smile on your face and that glean in your eyes.
