Event Description

Registration is closed. Due to unforeseen and medical circumstances, the show has had to be cancelled. All registered athletes have been notified. For those who have been training for the competition and have not been notified directly, the event promoter requests that you send an email to the FAME Operation Department. We apologize to all involved.

RULES & REGULATIONS:
This event follows the Tier System, Drug Testing, and Pro Status policies of the World Natural Sports Organization. Visit WNSO.com

This event has special divisions for newcomers, as well as seasoned athletes.

GRAND PRIZES:
* Move up the Tier System! This is an Elite Qualifier and Pro Qualifier Event.
* VIP Trip(s) to compete in the FAME World Championships in Las Vegas!

Please note: more info to be added. Trip(s) awarded to those who really impress the judges, and may or may not be awarded for each category.

Comment by Rodd Thunderheart on September 1, 2010 at 12:38am: Well.. that really blows.. yes.. I'd been training good and hard for a show only 20 minutes away.. and now it's cancelled. If I were to postulate a guess.. I'd say it had to do with the lack of entrants.. with only 21.. Shame...

Registration will take place at the host hotel on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.

Please register in advance if possible as this will ensure a short and speedy registration so you may get back to your final details leading to event day.

There will also be a mandatory athlete meeting either after resgistration or prior to judging in the morning. This will be announced at the registration.

The weekend of the event is also the weekend of the Canadian Country Music Awards, the city is going to be very busy hotel space is extremely limited so I suggest you book ASAP.

Group Booking Name or Number required: FAME Canadian Nationals or #589

Room Rate: $110-140/night

The Nova is a older hotel but it's clean and the service is excellent, we've used this hotel for other events. If you require they have full kitchenettes available at the above mentioned rates which have been awesome for our athletes.

The downside to the Nova is it will be about a 15 min taxi ride to the venue. I will be working to simplfy this as much as possible, details should be available upon your arrival of anything we've been able to arrange.

Comment by Cabel McElderry on August 7, 2010 at 10:57pm: I am frantically working through many details, and will do my best to accomodate, answer all questions and ensure everyone has an awesome event. I will be confirming spray tanning within days, this is in the works. I will also be announcing a host hotel for anyone needing accomodations, and full when where for registration details will be posted soon. I welcome all comments and suggestions.
